For those who have lost track, HR 3685 is Barney’s ENDA - the one that establishes a federal right for gays and lesbians to discriminate against trans people.

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the `Employment Non-Discrimination Act of 2007′.

SEC. 2. PURPOSES.

The purposes of this Act are–

(1) to provide a comprehensive Federal prohibition of employment discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation;

(2) to provide meaningful and effective remedies for employment discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation

But not gender identity.  Yet, despite having (seemingly) spent more time, energy and $ on spin than it would have taken to actually positively educate Congress on the legitimacy of trans-inclusion:

Nope - just more ‘Classic HRC’.  According to a subsequent post on TGV, one can no longer find that action item on the Scampaign’s website.

That burning sensation - for some of you (and you know who you are) - is that purple (and yellow) kool-aid eating its way through the lining of your stomach and corroding whats left of your soul.  (If you think that’s bad, I wouldn’t take a look at what that snazzy lil’ square bumper sticker is actually doing to your car.)
