Crooks and Liars on the racist, sexist, adulterous and – whether he likes it or not – homophobic epitome of what 2010 Republicanism is all about:
New York gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino attempted Monday to reverse the damage done when he told Jewish Orthodox leaders that he doesn’t want children “brainwashed into thinking that homosexuality” is acceptable.
“I’m not a homophobic,” he told ABC’s George Stephanopolous.
I’ll actually agree with the obnoxious, rich scumbag TeaBircher on that.
He can’t be a homophobic – not because his psyche isn’t overflowing with rancid pus, but because “homophobic” is not a noun, but rather a descriptor (most often an adjective, though presumably deployable as an adverb as well.)
But I’m sure that Paladino thought he was using the accurate terminology; presumably he was coached by some of Barney Frank’s friends who “have transgender.”
