One more reason to thumb your noses at the bell-ringing nuisances:
A Salvation Army says it has no position against Harry Potter and Twilight, even though a command in Canada is refusing to distribute toys branded with the series or any other wizards, vampires or werewolves.
“The Salvation Army is based on Christian principles, so these things are not in line with those,” said a Calvary-based Salvation Army captain in a story in the Edmonton Sun.
This position has caused some secularists and atheists start a campaign against the Christian charity, urging people to withhold donations from the group this Christmas.
The problem is that this one Canadian command seems to be the only place where Harry Potter and Twilight donations aren’t welcome.
The rest of the ‘commands’ just hate gays, lesbians, bisexuals and trans people.
