A Connecticut “Not” in Queen Bug’s Maryland

2001:

Connecticut’s human relations commission, for example, recently issued a ruling that transgendered individuals – which includes a broad range of people such as the effeminate man, the masculine woman, and the person who has undergone sex-reassignment surgery – are covered by Connecticut law that prohibits dicscrimination on the basis of sex/gender.

2011:

Maryland is not Massachusetts

And Maryland is not Connecticut – and it wasn’t Connecticut in 2001 either.  Yet, trans people were told to sit back, be quiet and be good little mushrooms while our ‘friends’ sprinkled fairy dust that would magically (read: non-statutorily) turn Maryland into Connecticut.
