Who Needs George Orwell When We Have Newt Gingrich?

Just, wow….

Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich says that anyone that uses direct quotes from his Sunday interview about Rep. Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) plan to dismantle Medicare is lying.

“I don’t think right-wing social engineering is any more desirable than left-wing social engineering,” Gingrich had told NBC’s David Gregory Sunday. “I don’t think imposing radical change from the right or the left is a very good way for free society to operate.”

“Any ad which quotes what I said Sunday is a falsehood,” he told Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren Tuesday.

What was it that Tina Fey said in character as the Mooseland Moron a few weeks back? Something about the lamestream media taking her out of context by quoting her verbatim?

Hey Newt…

Ever try drag?

Drop a hundred pounds and put on some glasses and one of your third wife’s outfits and you can try taking over for Tina as Sarah.

You can continue your ‘the truth is a lie’ shtick.

You’re a clown either way.
