Michele Bachmann: Exterminationist

We all learned what ‘compassion’ means when used by ‘compassionate conservatives,’ right?

Well, clearly not all of us have – otherwise there wouldn’t be a teabag majority in the U.S. House and a teahag being taken seriously as a presidential contender.

From Towleroad (which has the actual audio of this):

In 2004, at the National Education Leadership Conference, then Minnesota State Senator Michele Bachmann gave a lecture on the effects of same-sex marriage on education, in which her views on homosexuality and LGBT people are vigorously aired.

Said Bachmann:

I am not here bashing people who are homosexuals, who are lesbians, who are bisexual, who are transgendered. We need to have profound compassion for the people who are dealing with the very real issue of sexual dysfunction in their life, and sexual identity disorders. This is a very real issue. It’s not funny, it’s sad. Any of you who have members of your family that are in the lifestyle—we have a member of our family that is. This is not funny. It’s a very sad life. It’s part of Satan, I think, to say this is gay. It’s anything but gay.

This is far more serious than a better-coiffed Church Lady having delusions of some imaginary being commanding her to marry an obviously gay man who she then then forces to pretend to be straight so that they can defraud defenseless non-Inc. gays (and their families and, of course, their insurance companies) and that she can have a political career.

Its a modern superpower seriously considering anointing someone as leader who has a mindset which is a 21st Century, christianist counterpart to Josef Stalin, ca. 1930.  He compassionately – in his own mind of course, which until 1953 was the only one that mattered in the USSR – dealt with people who had the very real issue of political dysfunction in their lives, not to mention counterrevolutionary philosophy disorders…

and he dealt equally compassionately with anyone he thought had those “issues”…

and anyone he no longer had any use for who he needed doctor history to reflect as having those “issues”…

and he didn’t really have any use for Jews or gays either…

which conveeeeeeeeeeeeeniently brings us full-circle – back to the unrestrained, batshit-dripping, moonhowling that is Christianism, Inc.

Is Jello Biafra up for “Minnesota Uber Alles“?
