One Response to Analysis You’re Unlikely to Get From Either CNBC or Fox Business

  1. Katrina, your post here gives me the opportunity to indulge simultaneously my penchant for two behaviors:

    1) Going negative, and
    2) Citing Quinnae Moongazer.

Quinnae wrote yet another of her brilliant and beautifully written posts expressing her disdain for the whole genre of political cartoons… Drawn Into Failure, complemented by her badly-drawn yet marvelously expressive Slug cartoons. (?)

Anyway, after reading her arguments in this post, I shall never again cite a political cartoon, no matter how strongly I agree with its sentiments, for she persuaded me that it is a degenerate, and indeed intellectually dangerous, form of pseudo-intellectual argument.

(Of course, perhaps if one is targetting stupid people as one’s audience… but then again… would we not be risking dragging the random intelligent person into the Morass???)

    Sincerely,
    bonzie anne

PS: Didja notice how “Punk” Hungerford spells “complement” as “compliment” in some of her blog posts? The thought of winding up with her as one’s attorney of record… (shudder)… your best case scenario: success in claiming inadequate representation on appeal.
