Editors’ Note: Victoria A. Brownworth is an award-winning journalist, syndicated columnist. She is the author and editor of nearly 30 books, including the award-winning “Too Queer: Essays from a Radical Life” and “Coming Out of Cancer: Writings from the Lesbian Cancer Epidemic.” In 2010, she founded Tiny Satchel Press, an independent publisher of young adult books for ‘tweens and teens, which specializes in books for LGBT youth and youth of color.       I always wonder why radfems, especially the especially misandristic ones, don’t look at trykes and see people being the change they seek.

      She’s not running from her sorry past. Her present is just as sorry – read her two part series on trans people in the Philly Gay News from a year or two ago.

      Laden with transphobia barely covered with a thin veneer of “concern”. Of particular note is where in the second article she examines the genitals of a trans youth she states she thinks is 16 – even though they said they were 18.
