“N.I.B.,” of course, is a song that emanated from that brief time when Black Sabbath produced quality, yet incredibly dark, music – often resting more heavily on intensely technical guitar work than vocal, um…, stylings.
“N.I.B.” also dates from the time when there were more functioning brain cells in the head of one John Michael Osbourne than there were pools of urine at the Alamo and headless bat carcasses floundering in his wake.
“N.I.B.” also stands for “nativity in black.”
Well, until today anyway.
Recently the daughter of Ozzy Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne, opened up about her “humiliation”:
“Having to tell them (my parents) my fiance had cheated on me with a tranny who sold his/her story to the press (was the most uncomfortable moment). It was so humiliating. Everyone kept telling me that Luke was cheating on me, but I never believed them. It’s hard enough to get your head around someone cheating on you, but when someone is a chick with a d**k? Up until then, I’d always thought that the worst way to get cheated on would be with an ugly girl. Don’t you think?
I think one can safely say that “N.I.B.” now stands for “nauseatingly intolerant bigot.”
Get thee to a twanzery, Kelly. Do not pass GO; do not collect any ideas about making any more records.
