Unlike ‘Equality’ Maryland, I have no problem admitting when I make a mistake.

Interesting it seems my comment to that post is now mysteriously gone to the great never land of EQMD’s deleted comment grave yard.
All the comments that are missing are about the lie they are spewing about homeless shelters being covered under HB235. Can anyone be silly enough to believe what they are saying when it goes totally against the facts of what is and is not in this bill?
Go back and look at Cathy Brennan’s responses to my posts here about her claims from 2001. She still refuses to acknowledge that what she and her cohorts were selling then was more worthless than the pimple cream that Pat Boone was hawking back in the 1970s.
Katrina – For the last time… In 1998, the antidiscrimination act included gay and trans folx in the definition of sexual orientation. That was a mistake and the legislature made clear that it would not pass a bill with trans folx in it. Maryland law bans discrimination based on gender and we encouraged trans folx to file complaints under gender because we wanted to press remedies for folx. And as you know, the Maryland Human Relations Commission has taken cases under gender, and there is some Title VII case law that has allowed such claims. That of course is not as good as statutory law, but I will never apologize for helping pass the 2001 law – which, btw, gave us political capital to pass the 2002 Baltimore City trans law. You are a bully, a bigot and a bomb thrower. I pity you and your ilk. Done with this.
